Essentially, they are EQUATIONS with INEQUALITY signs • You can solve Inequalities using the same skills • You need to understand the language of Inequality – next slide. • You need to be careful with negative values of the unknown! • Your teacher will explain that one later!   5. One sided Inequalities Subtract 3 each side Divide by 4 each side Filled IN because 5 is Included 5 Menu

  6. One sided Inequalities Add 6 each side Divide by 5 each side NOT Filled IN because 4 is NOT Included 4 Menu

  7. TWO sided Inequalities Add 7 each side Divide by 2 each side 11 6 INTEGER SOLUTIONS? 7,8,9,10,11 Menu
