  2. Introduction • hope= the anxiousanticipation of good

  3. Romans 8:24 For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.

  10. "Ephesians 2:11 Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called "Uncircumcision " by the so-called "Circumcision," which is performed in the flesh by human hands-- 12remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

  16. Sufficiency of the Scripture = God’s Word is all we need to know about life and godliness.

  17. 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for traininginrighteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

  18. 2 Peter 1:3 seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. • The Bible is a book of ANSWERS, not a book of PROBLEMS!
