6. Fluency • Reading quickly, accurately, and with expression • Rate+Accuracy=Fluency • Fluent readers are able to focus their attention on understanding the text

8. Writing • It is a way to communicate, express ideas, and to organize and reflect on our lives • Better readers become better writers • Reading and Writing are two different ways of learning about the same thing (composing messages)
