2. Welcome to GeneSys 3 • The following presentation will illustrate a number of the functions available in GeneSys 3. • It is impossible to show all of the screens and functions of this powerful system. • If you are interested in GeneSys 3 and would like to learn more, please contact us at Psytech International. 3. Opening Screen • The GeneSys Opening screen provides an attractive interface for selecting from the various features available to users. • GeneSys is only accessible to users through a secure Password system. • Different users can be assigned different levels of access to the functions within GeneSys

4. Respondent Details Screen • The Respondent screen contains biographical and personal details of each respondent. • Users can see at a glance the tests which have been completed by each respondent. • A security level can be attached to each respondent to prevent unauthorised access to their data.

5. Respondent Notes Screen • The Notes screen enables users to add custom notes concerning the individual respondent or the testing session etc. • Notes added in this section appear in the respondent summary data sheet which can be printed or saved as a word file. • In the example opposite, we would note that this hypothetical test session was disrupted by a fire alarm.

6. Respondent Summary Data • This screen provides a comprehensive list of data that is available for the respondent at hand • Personal details, test results, and attached notes can be opened in a text file or printed directly

7. Test Entry Screen • The Test Entry screen is used for inputting responses from Answer Sheets, for adding Raw scores from some tests and for commencing the On-Screen administration of the tests supplied with GeneSys.

8. Input Screen • This is an example of the Input screen that is used when respondents have completed a paper and pencil version of a test.

9. Raw Score Input Screen • This is an example of an Input screen used where raw scores have already been calculated for a respondent.

10. On-Screen Administration • This is an example of the Spatial Reasoning Test being administered on-screen.

11. On-Screen Administration • This is an example of the Occupational Personality Profile being administered on-screen

12. On-Screen Administration • This is an example of the Filing Test from the Clerical Test Battery being administered on-screen

13. Test Administration • As soon as an on-screen test is selected, the screen locks in to the test and can only be exited by pressing a combination of keys known only to the administrator.

14. Remote Administration • Tests distributed with the GeneSys system can also be administered at remote locations without the full version of GeneSys. • The Remote Administration Questionnaire is set up at base and administered off-site. It is then subsequently imported into GeneSys for scoring and interpretation. Credits are deducted from the dongle at this later stage.

15. Attributes Screen • This screen allows users to add their own user-defined attributes. In the example, we see that the respondent’s “Birth Order” has been added. • Attributes can be added for an individual respondent or a whole group at once.

16. Reports Screen • The Reports screen allows users to select an interpretive report option from a list of available reports • Custom reports, defined by the user, will also appear in this list • Click here to view a sample report from the 15FQ+

17. Group Screen • The Group screen allows the GeneSys user to name a group and easily add respondents to that group based on filter criteria. • The Group option will then allow reporting or other GeneSys functions to be applied to a whole group at once, thus saving valuable time.

18. Norms - General • The General option of the norms area provides users with the sample size, mean and standard deviation of scores on the selected test and norm group. • This information can be exported to floppy, printed directly or saved in a word file.

19. Norms - Histogram • The Histogram option provides users with a graphical representation of the norm groups scores for a selected scale – useful for ascertaining types of score distribution

20. Norm Tables • The Norm tables provide a quantitative list of standardised scores for a selected test and norm group. • This table can be saved to a floppy, printed directly or saved as a word file for later review.

21. Norm Details Screen • The Norm Details option under the norms menu will allow users to view, at a glance, the biographical and other details pertaining to a particular norm group for a particular test. • This can then be printed directly, saved to floppy or saved as a word document. • Click Here for a sample copy.

22. Setup Screen • The Setup Screen is the area where GeneSys users can change report options (such as adding their own logo), change and assign passwords, manage user-defined attributes, update the credits required to administer tests, manage respondent lists and generate the necessary codes for Remote Administration of GeneSys tests.

23. Data Management Screen • In line with data protection acts and professional guidelines, the Data Management screen allows users to anonymise respondents in the database by replacing their details with ANON. • It is also from this screen that a wide range of imports and exports can be carried out (e.g., importing a GeneSys 2 Database into GeneSys 3, backups made and restored and database locations updated.

24. Questionnaire BatterySetup Screen • GeneSys provides users with the facility to design their own custom test batteries. • For example, you may wish to administer a test session that utilises the GRT2, the OIP and the 15FQ. • You can set this battery up in this screen and administer from the Test Entry screen or remotely.

25. Custom Reports Setup Screen • As a GeneSys user, you may edit the way in which interpretive reports are presented. • For example, you may wish to present the interpretive report for the 15FQ+, without its graphical profile, then add a page break and include a General Reasoning Test Report.
