  5. Initial Power-On • Second Screen shows contact information

  6. Main Menu • After initial power-up the unit will default to the main menu • From this screen user can select “A” to weld a joint or “D” for other options (i.e. software update) • Can come back to this screen anytime by pressing the main menu key

  7. Welding Procedure • Select “A” using the keypad

  8. Welding Procedure Cont. • Unit will prompt for job information for data logging • Only enter once on power-up or after returning to the main menu (Can press “Accept” to skip over) • Will Retain information until changed • Enter name using standard text messaging practices then press “Accept” key

  9. Welding Procedure Cont. • Enter Job location and press “Accept” key (Can press “Accept” to skip over)

  10. Welding Procedure Cont. • Enter a Job Reference if desired and Press “Accept” Key (Can press “Accept” to skip over)

  11. Welding Procedure Cont. • Unit will prompt user to connect the fittings

  12. Welding Procedure Cont. • Unit will prompt for what group of fitting you are welding • 1 ½” – 4” • 6” • Any combination of 1 ½” – 4” can be welded at the same time • 6” joints will be welded by themselves (2 joints at a time) Choose

  14. Welding procedure Cont. • If an error should occur the unit will alarm and show it on the screen as shown below. • See the user manual for a complete list of possible errors

  15. Download Data log • Insert USB Memory Key (included) into USB port on machine

  16. Download Data log Cont. • At main menu Press “D” For options

  17. Download Data log Cont. • Press “A” for Download Log

  18. Download Data log Cont. • Unit will Download the Log onto the USB key. Then ask if you want to reset the log. If yes press “A” if no press “D ” then disconnect the memory key

  19. Download Data log Cont. • Plug USB key into computer and open downloaded file

  20. 0: Weld OK 1: Stuck button on start up 2: Output fault before weld start 4: No calibration 5: Case temperature sensor fault (if fitted) 6: Case temperature out of limits (if fitted) 10: Low supply frequency <40Hz 11: High supply frequency >70Hz 12: High supply voltage >140v 13: Low supply voltage <95v 14: Relay failed to latch on weld start 20: Welding current Excessive (>150%) 21: Welding current High (>125%) 22: Welding current High (>112.5%) 23: Welding current High (>106.25%) 24: Welding current High (>101.5%) 25: User stop button pressed 26: Relay unlatched 27: Fitting open circuit 28: Welding current Low (<98.5%) 29: Welding current Low (<50%) 126: Cooling time failure 127: Power off failure.
