  5. Equity, human rights and sustainability are the three core principles that the UN System Task Team suggests should underpin the post-2015 global development framework

  8. Global Campaign on Education • The Global Campaign for Education (GCE) is a civil society movement working to end the global education crisis. • It aims to make sure that States act now to deliver the right of everyone to a free, quality public education.

Global Partnership in Education • Education First (26.09.12) • Education First is a new initiative by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. 250 million children cannot read, write or count well, • the fundamental right to free, quality primary schooling so that every parent can give their child an opportunity to fulfil their dreams.

  11. The goals of Education First: • Get all children in school • Better quality • Global citizenship • Raising the political profile of education, quality education and generate additional and sufficient funding through sustained advocacy efforts. • Learn more: .
