I have it set up so that I can type a hyphen - with a short press of the hyphen key, and hold down the key for longer to get an em-dash —. Extremely convenient, since I type loads of em-dashes. Similarly, the top row prints the numbers with the short press and the shift character with the long press—so for example the open parens key is "9" short press, "(" long press. The "Home" and "End" keys are the same key, short and long press respectively (I find myself using these keys a lot because they bring me to the end of the comments page where the "Post" command is. You can assign a third character by double-tap. In fact there is quite literally little restriction on all you can do, although I have been cautious. It's all very pleasant
