  2. Cambios después del nacimiento • Se reabsorbe el líquido alveolar, se produce surfactante • Disminuye la PCO2 y aumenta la PO2 • Disminuye la resistencia vascular pulmonar y se vasodilatan los capilares alveolares

  3. ¿Factores que influyen en el nacimiento? • Antes del trabajo de parto (antecedentes maternos) • Durante el mismo (cesárea, fórceps ) • Después (periodo de transición )

  4. TODO RECIEN NACIDO DEBE SER EVALUADO CON 4 PREGUNTAS • ¿Es una gestación a termino? • ¿Liquido amniótico claro? • ¿Respira o llora? • ¿Buen tono muscular?

  5. Paso iníciales • Proporcionar calor. • Colocar la cabeza del recién nacido con ligera extensión de cuello (posición olfateo). • Despejar la vía(si es necesario) • Secar, estimular ,reposicionar la cabeza

  6. EVALUAR RESPIRACION COLOR FRECUENCIA CARDIACA

  7. . • SI EL RN ESTA BIEN CONTINUAR CUIDADOS DE RUTINA • SI EL RN NO RESPIRA,FC MENOR DE 100 Y ESTA CIANOTICO COMENZAR MANIOBRAS DE REANIMACION

  8. Si no respira ,tiene frecuencia cardiaca menor de 100 x minuto y esta cianótico realizar ventilación con bolsa • Si respira pero tiene cianosis administrar oxigeno suplementario

  9. ventilo ventilo 2 3 2 3 comprime comprime libera libera Proporcionar frecuencia de 40 -60 por minuto

  10. El recién nacido requerirá 3 niveles de cuidados rutina observación Post reanimación
