Wireless Solutions for Radio Frequency Hostile Environments • PI: Huaping Liu, Assistant Professor, School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, OSU • Total: $300,000 • ETIC: $150,000 • Sandia Labs: $150,000 • Frequency hopping, spread-spectrum wireless communication that assures a reliable signal. • Focus of research: Reliable transmission where shielding might otherwise obstruct signals. • Application: Cable replacement in applications from residential to satellite environments.
