1. UAE Visa What is the UAE Visa? To enter the UAE, you will require the UAE visa, along with your valid passport. However, for travelers from countries like the UK, the USA, Schengen can get a visa on arrival in the UAE. It is not necessary for travelers to apply for a UAE visa before the arrival. Visa on arrival is also issued to the Visitors of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, etc. and travelers from all remaining countries have to apply for a UAE visa before traveling. The ​UAE Online visa (e-visa) is available, as a result, it is easier to obtain. Note​: Sometimes the UAE issued visas are called by the people according to the issuing place. i.e, a visa issued in Dubai is called Dubai visa, one issued in Abu Dhabi is called Abu Dhabi visa, etc. However, these are all the same type and are valid throughout the UAE regardless of the place of issue.

UAE Visa Types UAE visa types depend on the purpose, type of entry and length of stay and commonly categorized into the following - UAE Transit Visa - The transit visa for UAE is issued if someone is traveling to another country via the UAE, and all you need is to stay in the country for a few days in transit. This type is issued for two periods such as - ● 48-hour transit ● 96-hour transit UAE Service Visa - This visa allows you to stay in the UAE for a period of 14 days from the day of arrival. This is mainly issued to peoples traveling for commercial and business purposes. This is a single-entry type. UAE Tourist Visa - The tourist permit allows the tourist to stay in the UAE for a period of up to 30 days. There are two types of tourist permits based on entry types. ● Single-Entry Tourist ● Multiple-Entry Tourist

3. Long Term Tourist - These visas are issued for tourists wanting to stay in the country for a longer period. The visa is issued for a duration of 90 days. Based on the type of entry, these can be classified into the following two - ● Long Term Single-Entry Tourist ● Long Term Multiple-Entry Visit Documents Required for UAE Visa The documents required to get the UAE visa totally depends on the type of visa. It also depends on the eligibility criteria that make one qualify for the visa type. In general, the following are the documents necessary - 1. Passport ​- valid up to at least 6 months from the date of arrival in UAE (ordinary passports) 2. Colour copies of ​passport ​bio page and last page 3. Confirmed round trip ​flight tickets 4. 2 Colored ​photographs 5.
