What is SFX? • SFX provides links between electronic resources • Offers context-sensitive links • Offers links to the appropriate copy/ies –those owned/licensed by UCL (where possible) See http://www.ucl.ac.uk/library/sfx.shtml SFX and MetaLib
What is MetaLib? • Resource-discovery and cross-search tool • Single entry point for UCL’s electronic library resources • Includes subject-based resource discovery • Incorporates SFX links • Single sign-on with Athens and off-site access fewer login screens • Personalisation features SFX and MetaLib
