  4. Who do we train? • People of all ages and backgrounds • People with a passion for making travel exciting • People keen to develop their organisational and sales skills

  5. Courses Commence • July • September • February • April

  6. Duration • Five months full time • Monday - Friday 9-4.00 • Full Year Part Time • Monday and Wednesday Evening 6.00 -9.00pm • 3 Day a Week • Monday Tuesday and Wednesday • 9.00am - 4.00pm

  7. Facilities/Location • 5 Classrooms including two Computer Labs • Sabre • Galileo and Crosscheck • Amadeus • Bourke St City Location

  8. Course Content • Destination Geography • Computer Reservations • Sabre • Amadeus • Galileo • Fares and Ticketing • Domestic • International • Travel based business subjects • Travel Agency Operations • Job Preparation

  9. Work Placement • Provided for a six day period during the Course

  10. Assessment • A test is given for each unit • Very limited Assignment work

  11. Job Placement • Always operated at 95% over the past 20 years • Regular Employers include - Qantas Holidays, American Express, Stella Travel, Jetstar, Jetset, Carlson Wagonlit, I’xplore, Peregrine, Tempo Holidays, Consolidated,Harvey World and Travelscene.

  12. Graduate Positions • Retail Travel Consultant • Airline Reservations Consultant • Wholesale Reservations Consultant • Corporate consultant • Consolidation • Conference/Seminars/ Events

  13. Skills required • Organisational Skills • Customer Service • Problem Solving • Good Memory • Admin Skills
