  2. Scholarship Sheet • At this time please refer to your check-off list for scholarships. • If you see a scholarship that interest you please mark it on the sheet. Only if you HAVE NOT already sent in your information. • At the end of the presentation please forward them to your advisor.

  3. “Graduation Cap & Gown” • If you have not yet placed your order with Jostens for your cap and gown/announcements please do so as soon as possible. • If you are financially unable to order a cap and gown please see your guidance cousenlor. • Orders must be placed online, www.jostens.com

  4. Delaware Community Foundation Deadline: April 1st Eligibility: Delaware students are invited to apply for scholarships available through the Delaware Community Foundation. Students can apply for most scholarships by completing a single online application, available at www.delcf.org/apply Award: Varies AAUW-American Association of University Women Deadline: March 1st Eligibility: Offers annual scholarships of varying amounts towomen pursuing a bachelors or graduate degree at an accredited college or university. To be eligible you must be a U.S. citizen, a Delaware resident and attend a public or private high school in New Castle County. Award: N/A Local Scholarships Listed

Drexel University Deadline: February 21st Eligibility:$1,000 will be awarded to one finalist from each of the five categories: Driving without Distraction, Youth Fitness and Nutrition, Respectful Relationships, Money Matters, Staying Safe In a Digital World. Of those five, the overall winner will be eligible for a $25,000 scholarship to Drexel University. Award: Varies Delaware Association of Educational Office Professionals Deadline: April 15th Eligibility: The scholarship applicant must be a graduating senior of a Delaware public or private high school who is entering an accredited college for at least two years in a secretarial or related office/business occupational field. Award: $1,000 “ Let Your Dreams Become Reality”

Buick Achievers Scholarship Deadline: February 28th Eligibility: Applicants must be high school seniors planning to enroll in full time undergraduate study at an accredited four year college or university. Plan to major in a specified course of study that focuses on Engineering/Technology or select design and business related programs. Award: $2,000 up to $25,000 AMDA College/Conservatory Performing Arts Deadline: February 21st Eligibility : AMDA offers over $10 million of scholarship awards each year. Individual awards range from $1,000- $18,000. Scholarships are awarded based on talent, merit, academic excellence and financial need. All accepted students are eligible to apply for AMDA scholarships. Award: N/A “Reach For The Stars”

  7. Dover Lioness Club Deadline: April 15th Eligibility : Any senior who will be attending a two or four year accredited college. A committed individual who has a positive contribution to school and/or community activities and exhibits financial need. Award: N/A Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Deadline: March 25th Eligibility : The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc will be awarding a minority female graduating high school seniors pursue their goal for higher education. Scholarship funds are awarded to the successful candidate who is able to exemplify Scholarship, Leadership, and Community Service. Award: N/A “ Education equals success”

EDiS Generation III Deadline: April 1st Eligibility : Scholarship will be awarded to one student with financial need and academic merit who will be or is currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or business. Award: N/A Ryan R. Wagner Memorial Scholarship Deadline: April 1st Eligibility: Must be a graduating senior from MHS, AHS or St. Georges Vo-Tech schools that reside in the Appoquinimink School District. Student must be accepted to the University of Delaware engineering programs. Award: $1,000

EDiS Sense Deadline: April 1st Eligibility: Scholarship will be awarded to one student with financial need and academic merit who will be or is currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in environmental studies. Award: N/A Delaware Scholarship Opportunities Deadline: Varies Eligibility: There are several scholarships are funded by the State of Delaware and are administered by the Department of Education's Higher Education Office. They are available to graduating high school seniors only. Award: N/A

  10. Distinguished Young Women of Delaware Deadline: March 15th Eligibility: The program is open to young women in high school who will be graduating in 2013 who are residents of Delaware. The five aspects of the program are: scholastics, interview, talent, fitness, and self expression. Award: up to $25,000 Christopher K. Smith Memorial Deadline: March 14th Eligibility: Delaware's professional educators are offering a scholarship of $1,000 per year for four years in order to help a future teacher enter today's most rewarding , critical, and challenging profession. Awards: N/A

Water Resources Association-John Buzzi Memorial Scholarship Deadline: March 31st Eligibility: The applicant must be accepted at a properly accredited junior college, college or university for the fall semester of 013 within the states of Delaware, New Jersey, New York or Pennsylvania and must have an interest in issues related to water resources. Award: $1,000 New Castle County School Counselors Deadline: April 18th Eligibility: Jack Curran scholarship is for seniors graduating in 2014. Students must have a 2.5 GPA or higher with their high school transcript including SAT and/or ACT scores. Award: N/A

  12. AAUW-American Association of University Women Deadline: April 11th Eligibility: Offers annual scholarships of varying amounts towomen pursuing a bachelors or graduate degree at an accredited college or university. To be eligible you must be a U.S. citizen, a Delaware resident and attend a public or private high school in New Castle County. Award: N/A Diverse Minds Youth Writing Challenge Deadline: March 14th Eligibility: High school students are invited to write and illustrate a children's book that discusses the topics of tolerance and diversity. Award: N/A

  13. DaVinci Scholar Deadline: March 1st Eligibility: High school seniors must reside in Delaware or Pennsylvania, be college bound, have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, be of Italian heritage, and prove financial need. Students must also be members of NIAF; they may join at the time of scholarship application for a nominal fee. Award: N/A MWUL Guild Scholarship Deadline: March 1st Eligibility: The Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League Guild will be awarding two college scholarship. The amount of the financial awards will vary. Award: Varies

  14. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Deadline: April 1st Eligibility: AKA Sorority is seeking college bound, female, graduating high school senior for scholarship awards for the 2013-2014 school year. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Award: N/A Delaware Lions Foundation Deadline: April 1st Eligibility: Graduating high school seniors residing in Delaware and attending public high school in Delaware. Applicant must demonstrate exceptional involvement in community service and good leadership skills. Applicant must also have high scholastic achievement and demonstrate financial need. Award: $1,000

  15. Middletown Lions Club Deadline: April 1st Eligibility: Graduating high school senior enrolled in a public Middletown Delaware high school. Applicant must demonstrate involvement in community service, display good leadership skills, high scholastic achievement and demonstrate financial need. Award: $500

  16. Delaware Scholarship Compendium • Please refer to your Fall 2014 Compendium for more scholarships. • Be sure to check the deadlines and eligibility. • Allow 10 days for all transcripts to be processed.
