  9. GRAPPA constitution • For last two years GRAPPA has been managed by a few • In order to ease the transition to a new structure, an initial transition period will be required: • retain at least half existing steering committee: require each member to ‘stand’ for nomination • Elect Executive Board but with members from current Steering Committee

  10. GRAPPA constitution – timelines • Agreed Constitution January 2006 (>100 votes) • Nominations sought for Steering and Executive committees April 2006 • To ensure everyone had a chance to vote electronic voting May 2006 (76 responses) • Results of voting at Stockholm meeting

  11. GRAPPA – Executive committee *President – Dafna Gladman (r) *Vice President – Philip Mease (r) Secretary – Wolf-Henning Boehncke (d) *Treasurer – Philip Helliwell (r) Two members ‘at large’ Gerald Kreuger (d) Christopher Ritchlin (r) * Only nominations

  14. Where do we go now? • Ratify and agree elected committees • Establish collaborative ventures using active sub-committee structure: • Registries • Genomics • Immunohistology • Criteria (new developments) • Patient involvement • Continue governance committee to consider: • Terms of office (Byelaws say 3 years but agreed to phase new members in) • Promotion of appropriate representation from dermatology and rheumatology

  15. Any questions? • Byelaws • Committee structure and membership • Sub-committee structure • Volunteers for committees, including governance committee
