  12. Noahic • The Noahic Covenantis recorded in Genesis 9:1-17. Some call it the Rainbow Covenant because YAHWEH specially created the manifestation of the rainbow as a continuous sign that this Covenant is still in effect (vs.12-17).

  13. YAHWEH added one more provision, introducing the principle of a human government that is to be responsible for suppressing the outbreak of sin and violence.

  14. [A] The responsibility to populate the Earth is reaffirmed (vs.1). • [B] The subjection (not the butcher) of the animal kingdom to man is reaffirmed (vs.2).

  15. [C] The sacredness of human life is established. No-murder! Whoever shed man’s blood, whether man or beast, must be put to death (vs.5, 6).  YAHWEH sometime in the future, demands a 'reckoning' of a-l-l flesh; it is known as the "Great White Throne Judgment.*"

  19. The Golden Rule rules!  Respect human life - do not murder. • No immoral sex. • Respect others - do not steal. • Belief in G-d- do not worship idols.

  20. Do not blaspheme G-d'S name. • Create a judicial system. • Respect all creatures - do not eat the blood or raw flesh of animals*. •           *Do not eat of things strangled.

  22. Genesis 17:1,2Covenant with Abraham When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am G-d Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless, that I may make my covenant between me and you, and may multiply you greatly.

  23. Abrahamic Covenant • The Abrahamic Covenant Defined • The LORD made a covenant with Abraham and his descendants consisting of three components:

"As for Me, behold, my covenant is with you, and you will be the father of a multitude of nations" [Gen 17:4] "I will establish my covenant between Me and you, and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be G-d to you and to your descendants after you." [Gen 17:7] "And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing;" [Gen 12:2]

  27. Read Romans 4:1-16 • Rom 9:6 But it is not as though the word of G-d has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel;

  28. Rom 9:7 nor are they all children because they are Abraham's descendants, but: "THROUGH ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS WILL BE NAMED." • Rom 9:8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of G-d, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants.

Gal 3:26 For you are all sons of G-d through faith in Messiah Yeshuah. • Gal 3:27 For all of you who were baptized into Messiah have clothed yourselves with Messiah. • Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Messiah Yeshuah. • Gal 3:29 And if you belong to Messiah, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise.

I am a rebel against G-d and His law. I need to be right with G-d through Yeshuah Messiah. I am going to meet Messiah. If I have trusted Messiah I will live with Him forever.

  47. Old vs New Blood of Sacrifice 13-15 • Animal blood could cleanse outside • In the blood is life • Blood carries oxygen • Removes impurities • Blood purifies • But only the blood of Messiah can purify our hearts

Benefits of Yeshuah’ Blood • Matthew 26:28 It is shed for the remission of sins. • Acts 20:28 It is the price paid for our purchase to be G-d's possession...to be His church. • Romans 3:25 It is the sacrifice for our atonement...to be made right with G-d and at one with G-d. Faith in His blood brings this atonement. • Romans 5:9 We are justified by His blood. Made as if we had never sinned. • Ephesians 1:7 & Colossians 1:14 "...we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sin..."

  49. Benefits of Yeshuah’ Blood • Ephesians 2:13 "We are brought near...into G-d's presence through the blood of Messiah." • Colossians 1:20 We now have peace with G-d through the blood of His cross. • Hebrews 10:19 We have boldness to enter G-d's most holy presence through the blood of Yeshuah. • Hebrews 13:12 Through the blood of Yeshuah we are sanctified...that is made holy before G-d.

  50. Benefits of Yeshuah’ Blood • I John 1:9 The blood of Yeshuah Messiah, G-d's Son cleanses us from all sin. • Revelation 1:5 We are washed from our sins in His blood. • Revelation 12:11 We overcome the enemy...we overcome temptation to sin, we overcome condemnation, we overcome sin's power, we overcome the past, by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony!!!
