  6. A Conversation with Thad • How come freshmen and sophomores aren't able to participate in internships without receiving credit? • Basic Knowledge of Subject Area • Making a push for students to be declared

  7. A Conversation with Thad • Does WLC offer any internship workshops for younger candidates for internships? • Not currently offered • Exploring and Researching options

  8. Aspiration Schools • 11 schools across the US • 10 had no credit-level requirement • Encouraged younger students to be active

  9. A Conversation with Thad • Are there any alternatives that WLC offers that are like internships and can be used for credit? • No for-credit alternatives • Encourage informational interviews and job shadows

  10. Proposed Internship Requirements • No credit pre-requisite

  12. Proposed Internship Requirements • Good Academic Standing • Advisor Approval • No more than an average class load may be taken during an internship • 15-16 credits not including internship
