Asian Institute of Technology • Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is a regional graduate education hub, offering Masters and doctoral programs. • Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources Management (AARM) Program was launched as a Field of Study in 1981 within AIT’s School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD)

  3. Asian Institute of Technology AARM students come from many Asian countries as well as from Africa, EU, USA and South America. AARM alumni have played important roles in the region.

  4. CRSP at AIT • PD/A CRSP moved to AIT in 1987. • CRSP researchers at AARM/AIT are Prof. C. Kwei Lin, Dr. Yang Yi and Dr. Amrit Bart. • Since 1987, Masters and doctoral students supervised by CRSP researchers were fully or partially funded by CRSP. • During 1987 – 2008, about 120 Masters and doctoral students at AIT were involving in CRSP investigations to some extent.

  5. Impact of CRSP through AIT • Students come from many countries. • CRSP has involved many studnets to the research activities. • CRSP results have been introduced to students through lectures and seminars. • CRSP results have been introduced to many countries through masters and doctoral students as well as visitors and trainees of short courses.
