Description As with any specialized field, pocket watch collecting has its own terminology, and it is not always easy for the novice collector to understand what the &8220exprts&8221are talking about. What&8217sthe difference between a railroad &8220grae&8221watch and a railroad &8220appoved&8221watch? What is a &8220levr set&8221watch? Isn&8217t&8220roled gold&8221a brand of pretzel? Etc., etc., etc.This booklet is full of all the things I wish somebody had told me when I first started collecting, and which I have shared with many new collectors over the years. Keep in mind that I have tried to keep things as simple and basic as possible for quick and easy comprehension, which necessarily means that this is not a scholarly treatise. But hopefully this will give you enough information to get you started and also give you a clue what those &8220othr&8221books are talking about.
