This project focuses on the development and feasibility assessment of a wireless temperature monitoring system using a 4-20 mA loop-powered transmitter and receiver with RTD technology. The system will allow for the wireless transmission of resistance values from an RTD inserted into pipelines for asphalt temperature readings. The solution aims to operate within a temperature range of 250-400°F and maintain a high accuracy, mimicking existing wired systems. A prototype will be built to test functionality and scalability for larger applications.
