Specialist Task Forces (STFs) are expert groups contracted by ETSI to advance the development of critical standards in strategic areas. Proposed by ETSI Technical Bodies, these teams contribute under technical guidance to address urgent needs, enhancing ETSI's competitive advantage. STF members, selected from ETSI stakeholders, typically collaborate on-site at ETSI premises. Funding comes from ETSI's budget, voluntary contributions, and contracts with various organizations. This seminar provides an overview of STF function, importance, approval processes, and funding mechanisms.
