Results show most respondents perceive their principals as very effective or extremely effective. Teacher ratings on overall effectiveness have been rising, with over half of assistant principals rated as effective by at least 70% of their teachers. The data also suggests a correlation between principal effectiveness and assistant principal effectiveness, as school leaders tend to improve as they move toward becoming principals.
