  2. What is Reportnet? Integrated suite of IT tools optimised to support the business processes of the European Environmental Information Systemand building on a shared information infrastructure. Reportnet is already being prepared for SEIS • Content Registry (CR) enhancements • CR is being enhanced to understand any XML file that as a conversion from XML to RDF (the latter is the core format in Semantic Web and CR). • As a result, CR is becoming able to discover and understand data on almost grass-root level. • The content of CR is thus growing, so performance is addressed too. • Quality Assessment Workbench (QAW) • A brand new web-based application where users can carry out quality assessment on resources recently discovered by CR . . . • . . . or resources that users themselves have registered on QAW. • The resulting QA report is linked into the resource's metadata which, in turn, is auto-discovered by CR. presentation
