Academic Program Review Highlights
Biology has grown to the 3 enrollment of the 6 largest campus departments.rd largest FTSE generator at PC with the smallest 110 fund and a lower full time faculty to student ratio of the largest campus departments.
Full time biology faculty shortages have been a long term problem limiting FTSE in key areas. There has been no overall increase in biology faculty for more than 15 years.
PC Natural Science departments have greater proportion of minority, female, and Hispanic faculty than other MCCCD science areas and other colleges nationally (MCCCD EEOE/AA Office)
