Project Overview Challenges for AIREKO (Cont’) AIREKO want to repeat its success story oversea in the energy efficient retrofitting and renewable energy sectors To address this challenges, AIREKO approach MIT PR Lab Team to conduct research on the 4 potential countries Once selected our candidate country, MIT Team is to develop a Penetration plan for that country

Project Overview Team Objectives and approach Evaluate each country opportunity, using our framework: • Energy Policy • Industry Structure • Costs of Doing Business Create a Comprehensive Penetration Plan • Identify Detailed market opportunities • Identify Suitable Business Models • Identify Key Potential Partners • Build immediate action plan for AIREKO team members

Prioritized countries • Find Local Partners • - Energy Audit (SFP) • - Construction /Engineering • Approach CHENACT and Smart Energy Fund, which may grant or loan initial Capex for EE project in hotel industry. • Create “Track Record” to tackle • - Hotels in other Caribbean countries • - Convince Financial players to start ESCO model together ? ? ? ? • Target large hotels which has no need to rely on governmental grant or loan.
