  2. Whether it is an in-ground pool or above ground, pool safety is very important for both. Here is the list of a few pool safety products, assuring the security.  Fencing  Ladders and Steps  Pool Alarms  Signs and Equipment  Pool Electrical Safety  Chemical Safety

  3. Fencing Fencing shall be properly done around the edges of the pool and the swim platform. If there are stairs, that surrounding shall also be secured with the fences.

  4. Ladders The ladder in the pool area shall be properly installed and make sure it is firmly attached. There are limited options to enter into the swimming pool. So, choose according to the requirement and the pool designs.

  5. Pool Alarms Above ground pools are safe enough. The pool alarms installed in the pool area increase the safety. The electronic sensors easily detect if any child or pet enters and set off the loud alarms.

  6. Signs and Equipment Pool signs and equipment are equally important for safety. Signs help the unknowns know how to be safe. It can read “No diving”, “No jumping”, etc.

  7. Pool Electrical Safety Most of the pools are electrically safe, but still there can be some hazards existing. So, using particular pool electrical safety equipment assure security.  Pool pumps should be plugged directly into a GFCI outlet (no extension cord).  Pool lights also must be connected to a GFCI circuit.  Inspect switches and cables regularly for safety hazards.

  8. Chemical Safety Since the pools are chemically purified, the chemical products need to be out of the reach of children and pets. So, keep them out of reach and properly covered.
