  10. …and they’ll do the same with the medicines, if it would take time for the doctor to come, or the sick person was in a dangerous situation…

  11. and they’ll call the doctor on duty so that he may come to visit the patient and to order the appropiate medicines or cares, which the Sisters’ll provide as soon as possible

  12. This is an ancient text “about the nurses”, included in the Constitutions of the Sisters of Charity of St. Anne, year 1824 From it we want to highlight to attitudes: “to keep ready” and “gentleness”

  13. “To keep ready” Charity is timeless It means availability for a welcoming that cannot be improvised neither physically nor psychologically… Willingness and readiness in the welcoming

  14. “Gentleness” That means quality in welcoming, delicacy and tenderness in the attention, detail in the relationship with the weak or sick person

  15. So this is “Our Style” • Sensitivity • Ability for welcoming and for reaching out the people and being able to help them • Commitment without showing off , • Ability for cooperation and team-work • Generosity in the service
