About JobWorks • JobWorks: Non-profit 501c3 founded in 1987 • What we do: Provide employment & training services • Where we do it: State of Indiana • Represent the Mayors of Elkhart & Fort Wayne on the USCM Workforce Development Council • Board of Directors--not Mayor--hires JobWorks President US Conference of Mayors Jan. 25 2007

  3. JobWorks: We’ve Changed In 1999… • We did it all in 9 counties of Northeast Indiana: • Staff to the board (first PIC, then WIB) • Fiscal Agent • Operator of programs • Staff size: 45 • Budget: $5 million • Mindset: Content US Conference of Mayors Jan. 25 2007
