  1. Stevedore Impacted Trucks (SIT) WHY? The flow on effect of poor terminal performance will be recognised within the PBLIS framework during the applicable period (during week nights and weekends). A truck is deemed to be a Stevedore Impacted truck when the Truck Turn Time (TTT) exceeds the allowable TTT within the applicable period. For subsequent trips the same truck will have an additional allowance in arrival time up to the amount of minutes that the truck was previously delayed beyond the allowed TTT. HOW ? • EXAMPLE • A carrier has a single booking for a 5pm timeslot with ‘Stevedore A. The truck arrives on time, and the TTT is 60 minutes (10 minutes over the TTT and so is eligible for 10 minutes of stevedore impacted time in subsequent trips) • The carrier has another booking at that same terminal for 9pm timeslot on the same day with the same truck. Due to the truck being held up previously on the 5pm timeslot by 10 minutes, the truck is able to arrive up to 10.10pm without penalty (i.e. up to 10 minutes past the end of the allowable arrival time of the 9pm timeslot) • Note: • If the impacted truck arrives within the standard arrival time of any subsequent trips, the truck is no longer deemed to be a impacted truck and the extended time allowance is no longer applicable. • To be eligible for extended arrival time, the carrier’s subsequent booking must be: • For the same stevedore • Made by same carrier • For the same truck rego • Weekdays – within the same 4pm – 4am period • Weekend – within a 12 hour period of the initial impact
