  2. Placement Alerts - Sign-upNow! 1. Log in to your account: www.ScotGrad.co.uk 2. In ‘your details’, click ‘edit’ at the bottom of the page. 3. Tick ‘placement alerts’ to receive emails and you can then choose the subject areas and locations most relevant to you. (We recommend that you ‘select all’ for location, and keep type of work as broad as possible, at least to start with, so that you don’t miss any exciting placements!) 4. Saveinfo@scotgrad.co.ukto your address book, to ensure you always receive our emails (make sure to check your 'junk' folder, too). Already signed up? You can now update your details to ensure you receive all of the most relevant placements! (NB: if you have ticked ‘placement alerts’ and not selected specific locations or types of work, you will receive alerts for all placements advertised on the website.) The placement alerts you receive are filtered according to your highest qualification, compared to what an employer has specified on their advert (HNC, HND, Undergraduate or Postgraduate), as well as whether you are a current student or not (i.e. whether you should be receiving summer placements or graduate placements). Want to gain valuable, tangible work experience following graduation? • Our graduate placement programme offers you an opportunity to work on a short-term project with an established business or social enterprise • Projects last from three months to one year and must be quantifiable and measureable • You receive a minimum salary of £16,000 (pro rata) whilst on your placement • Participating businesses are dynamic, growth-oriented and located across Scotland, within the private and voluntary sectors. • You also get to participate in our Professional Development Programme, which includes a bespoke Business and Employability skills course. www.ScotGrad.co.uk/graduates

  29. How does it work from here? The Graduate programme is open to all graduates who: • Have graduated at degree or postgraduate level from a higher education institution, or HND or HNC within the past 4 years • Are not studying full-time • Have up-to-date visa documentation, if required • Have strong English language skills appropriate to a business environment • Have no more than 1 year’s relevant (graduate level) work experience since the last qualification.
