  5. Expectations & Objectives of this workshop Workshop 1 • Defining strategic solutions to financing problems • Better understanding of Financing options • Better understanding of how each business case is embedded in its value chain • Action plans for ‘Improving Access to Finance’

Pitch/Presentations for Day 3 • Describe your business idea in 5 sentences • Present yourself and Explain why you are attractive to finance • What is my entrepreneurial track record • What is the track record of my company/organisation • Describe the new business case/opportunity • Purpose of Financing / Financing is needed for …. (+Amount, Fixed assets/Working Capital); • How do you expect it to be financed? (own contribution, loans, leasing, etc) • Describe the business / product (within the Value Chain) • What is the problem that I solve with this business solution • Describe the market situation: which volumes to sell, level of accessibility, competitors, who are my clients, which kind of relationships (sales contracts, etc) are already in place, • Describe your competitiveness • What will be your revenues • What will be the impact (individual and/or chain impact, how many farmers, chain actors will benefit ?) • Risk mitigation: How do we reduce risks? • Pay back capacity + securitisation (collateral, contracts, etc.), liabilities
