Specific On-going Projects and Plans Additional Surveys: • Innovation survey – OECD’s definition and classification stated in Oslo manual will be adopted in this survey and the questionnaire of Communication Innovation Survey (CIS) will also be used as a guideline in designing the questions. Questions regarding innovation activities will constitute one main section of the survey questionnaires. This project is planned to conduct in 2009. • Survey of Public awareness on S&T – The second survey of Public awareness on S&T is planned to conduct in 2013. National Science Foundation (NSF)’s questionnaires on Public attitudes and understanding towards science and technology will be used as guideline.
