  2. LOCATION About 2 hour trip by bus. 418 Stanton Way, Pottsboro, TX 75076

  3. Transportation 2 School Buses (one boy bus, one girl bus) Parents can drive their own cars if they’d like.

  4. CABINS • Each cabin has 6 bunk beds, with a separate room for teachers/chaperones. • Cabins are air conditioned/heated • Private shower stalls

  5. FOOD Three meals a day, “seconds” allowed Salad bar at lunch and dinner, fruit bar at breakfast Care is taken with any food allergies

  6. Science Learning • Based on science curriculum • Earth Science – Erosion, Deposition, Weathering, Fossils, Weather, Resources • Life Science – Animal Adaptations and Food Web *owl pellet dissection

  7. “Waders in the Wetlands” • Collecting aquatic organisms, by wading into lake (to knee level) and catching organisms. • Helps with learning complete and incomplete metamorphosis of insects.

  10. Safety is our number one priority, students will be supervised at all times. Camp JOLT staff is onsite at all times. Teachers will ride the bus. Teachers will stay in the cabins (Ayers, Dix, Meyer, Pogue, and Turner – girls cabins, Sirois and Gilson – boys cabins) All parents must complete background check. We will bring someone in the role of nurse. Camp JOLT is well prepared to deal with food allergies. Supervision and Safety

  11. Parents are WELCOME to attend! • Parents can stay in separate parents’ cabins. • Parents can participate in all that they want, or hang out at camp. • Cabin layout can be found on the website.

  12. COST - $157.50 • Option 1: Pay $157.50 by October 1st • Option 2: Pay $40 by October 1st, $40 by November 1st, Pay $40 by December 1st, Pay $37.50 by January 15th • Option 3: Pay $40 by October 1st, participate in Popcorn Fundraiser to raise all or part of the rest, pay the remainder by January 15th depending on fundraiser profits. Each child’s fundraising proceeds will go directly toward his or her Camp JOLT amount.
