  8. Literacy Backpacks • Distributed to every student twice per school year • Students take home for five days (Th – Tu) • Themes: Ocean, Insects, Butterflies, Dinosaurs, Zoo, Alphabet • Contents: Three books, one puzzle, one educational game, one puppet, one CD with thematic songs

Blizzard Bags • Distributed to families for calamity make-up days • Sesame Street Math Is Everywhere tool kits • Contents include: number flash cards, DVD, story, hands-on educational games, parent guide • Website includes: Online games, educator guide, DVD clips, etc. • Available through local PNC Bank

  10. Discovering with Dudes • Distributed to families monthly • Simple Science experiments to conduct at home • Experiments submitted by Dudes • Addresses two family engagement themes • Focus on Fathers • Full STEAM Ahead • Sample Discovering with Dudes flyer
