  2. Every day parents and other adults dismiss the reality of bullying among our children: “My child would never be bullied…” “If someone bothers you, hit them before they hit you…” “Sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never…”

  5. 77% of all teens have • been victims of physical, verbal, emotional, or cyber bullying.

  6. Every 7 minutes a child is harassed or victimized by some form of bullying.

  7. 85% of bullying incidents go unaddressed by adults.

  8. An estimated 100,000 students admittedthat they carried a gun to school in 2010 as aresult of the fear caused by incidents of bullying.
