  1. Adulthood's Commitments “A healthy adult is one who can love and work.” – Sigmund Freud. How was your day so far?

  2. Two Aspects What separates adulthood from other stages in life? Look at it this way, what does the average adult do almost everyday? If your thinking Arby’s your wrong, if you thought work and going home to their families you are correctamundo. Sorry no gold star if you got it right. Work and love are the main aspects that make adulthood so different. Black Falcon 

  3. Love <3 Love is very important to mankind. We see it everywhere. Anywhere from movies to the streets of Zimbabwe (exclude Jersey Shore). It starts with flirting, then falling in love, and lastly marriage or commitment to one person (unless there’s baby mama drama). Love is usually more enjoyable and likely to last between two adults when they have more similar interests and values, a sharing of emotional and material support, and intimate self- disclosure. Now in today’s world the adult looks past those fairy tale endings and looks for someone who has a good job, is a good caregiver, intimate friend, and warm and responsive lover. What comes after this? Marriage of course. Being married doesn’t mean everything’s going to be okay. Problems are bound to come up, but it’s how a couple deals with them that determines how strong of a couple they are.

  4. Love <3 (Continued) Usually a married couple will have a child. A child will strengthen the love between parents and bring them closer together, but when the money starts pouring out of pockets, time is taken away, and emotional energy is drained from the parents, being married might not be such a happy thing. This doesn’t mean it’s the end of the line, it means to work together to figure out a plan to satisfy both people. Lastly the child leaves the parents. Depending on the parents this could be a hard separation to overcome. After the child leaves their “nest” parents will once again enjoy life with one another alone. - Ima let you finish….

  5. Work -_- Work is the other aspect to adulthood. A job is something you will most likely keep for awhile, so it’s important to acquire a job that will satisfy all your needs. To adults, the job you have is part of who you are. It can tell a lot about the kind of person you are. For example, if you work at a nightclub doing bad things people might not respect you as much as someone who has money like the guy who came up with Snuggies. The job you pick should a sense of competence and accomplishment. You know where I’m going with this. + =
