Each normal week we will have a spelling pre-test on Monday, Math quiz/ test on Wednesday, Language test on Thursday, and reading test every Friday. I am looking forward to what your child can do this year! Dates to remember: *Reading TEST: Fri., Aug 15th*Math Fact test- Wed Aug 13th*spelling test – Mon. Aug 18th Vocabulary words ( challenge words)1. memoir- from French word, means memory. Story written of personal experience. 2. Observant- paying careful attention to 3. culture- characteristic features of everyday life of people shared in a time or place 4. animated- to give life to; made to look like moving 5. design- a plan spelling words: What We’re Learning: Reading : We will be reading 26 Fairmont Avenue Reading skill: Genres: fiction vs. Nonfiction.
