The September 12 billing meeting covered the objectives, principles, and concepts related to the EBC (Effective Billing Charges). Key topics included the calculation of EBC for BT terminating and originating, transit charges (sender and recipient pays), treatment of number ranges, and local exchange segment charging. Attendees raised concerns about the meeting's preparation and lack of adequate materials. Next steps include issuing a document on the BT proposal and scheduling follow-up meetings for further discussion and insights from the industry.
