  3. Waterlase/Laser Dentistry Waterlase is an advance technology used to provide laser dentistry. Laser dentistry is becoming a lot more prevalent in the modern dental practices and has revolutionised treatment options available. Lasers have many therapeutic properties including desensitisation, disinfection and coagulation. This means laser dentistry has made it possible to have less need for numbing, more comfortable procedures, less bleeding and less inflammation. In cases where major repair of several teeth is needed accurate dental records are essential. In this case, we needed x-ray examination of all teeth, casts of the teeth to see how the bite comes together and thorough clinical examinations.   Her front teeth were chipped and worn down and the old fillings were discoloured.
