PC Client: Minimum Requirements • PC Clients (Desktop, Notebook, Tablet, etc) • Hardware • 1.8GHZ Intel processor or better, <or> • 1.4GHZ Opteron process or better • 512MB memory or better • Graphics resolution 1024x768 or better • Software • Windows 2000 <or> • Windows XP with Service Pack 2 minimum • Internet Explorer version 6.0.28 or later • Acrobat Reader version 7.0 or later • Cell phone/PDA Clients • I-phone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Google • Please note: these are the MINIMUM requirements to run Opus Clinicals as the only application on the PC. We recommend that customers consider all the applications which the PC will be running and increase from these MINIMUMS accordingly. System Architecture 25 bed local server deployment • Basic Configuration: 2 Rack mounted Servers (1 production, 1 high-availability/failover): • Vendor Agnostic, select: HP/IBM/Sun/Dell • Must support Linux • Minimum 1.8 GHz Opteron or 2.4GHz Xeon or better (Dual proc, Dual Core), • 8GB RAM, GigE, CD/DVD, Remote Management capable • Internal RAID 5 Storage subsystem 1TB usable minimum. • This Configuration Requires Customer provided: • Data Center space and related infrastructure/cabling • Local IT staff • LAN & WAN infrastructure • SAN and fabric interface is optional • Tape backup • Local Print Server • Compatible VPN hardware • Web SSL Certificates • FAXing operational costs • Recurring license costs • Physically separate Disaster Recovery hardware and facility if desired. • Notes for all prices in this document: • Pricing/Configuration is budgetary, and is subject to change • Hardware vendors recommended are HP, IBM, Sun, or Dell. Most equipment purchased in the last 2-3 years meets our minimum requirements. Opus utilizes a scalable, layered, Web-based architecture which can be tailored for facilities of all sizes. By separating the basic building blocks, we can meet the performance demands of tens, hundreds, or thousands of concurrent users.
