Enhancement Highlights • Improved navigation and user-friendly functionality. • Incorporated new member search options (e.g., Company ID, First Name, Last Name, Company Name, and E-mail. • Enhanced reporting functionality, including, ability to export data into an Excel (.csv) format. • Added ability to link directly to new member contact data via My Chapter Home. • Simplified process for formatting chapter description content/events that display on the Chapter Locator. • Incorporated award icons for Bronze, Gold, Silver, Platinum chapters to display on the Chapter Locator.

Access My Chapter • Log into the APICS Web site at www.apics.org. • Select the View/Edit My Info link within the Welcome panel in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. • Select Manage MY CHAPTER* from the left-hand navigation bar. *Only officers granted My Chapter access by their chapter president are able to view the Manage My Chapter option.

  9. This Is Where the Fun Begins! After selecting Manage My Chapter*, you are taken to the My Chapter section. To proceed, you will be prompted to read and accept the User Agreement (one time only). What you see next will depend on your access/role. *Each parent chapter and each student chapter has a unique My Chapter area so be sure to select the desired chapter from drop-down menu at the top of the screen.

  10. Access Real-Time Reports for your Chapter's Members • Click the Real-Time Reports option. • Select the Create Report button. • Choose Report Options: • Member Status Report (Default) • Show Advanced Report Criteria (Check Box)

Real-Time Reports – Member Status Report • Current Members – Active chapter members. • Renewal Alert – 60 Days Prior to Dues End Date. • New Members – If selected, users are given the opportunity to designate First Join Date Range. • Former/Suspended – If selected, users are given the opportunity to designate Dues End Date Range.

  12. Real-Time Reports – Show Advanced Report Criteria • Member Status • Dues End Date Range • APICS Certifications • APICS Certification Date Range • Certification Maintenance Status • Member Type

  13. Real-Time Reports (Continued) • Chapters (Optional) – Designate chapters to include in report then select Continue. • Demographics (Optional) – Narrow your results by designating specific demographic criteria and selecting Continue or click Skip to proceed directly to the next step.

  14. Real-Time Reports (Options) • Designate report type • Basic (Limited Fields) • Extended (All Fields) • Custom (User designates fields that appear in report) • Designate export format • Excel (.csv) • Text

  15. Real-Time Reports (Download) • Select the Open button to download file or select the Save button to save file to your computer.

  17. Real-Time Reports (Save as .XLS) • Select File/Save As from menu, select directory. • Change Save as type to Microsoft Office Excel Workbook. • Designate File name (i.e., newmbr5-07.xls) and click Save.

  18. Access Monthly Membership Snapshot Reports • Click the Real-Time Reports option. • Scroll down the page to the Snapshot Reports area. • Select report type and file, then double click to open.

  19. Snapshot Reports (Download) • Select Open to download/view file.

  21. Access Member Search • Click the Member Search option. • Choose search option. To find members in your chapter, enter an APICS ID or Company ID in the search form below or use the Advanced Search function.

  22. Member Search (Continued) Default View: View/update selected Contact Information for selected member. Alternate View: View/update selected Work or Home address information for selected member.

  23. View/Update Chapter Profile • Click the Chapter Profile option. • Designate option (Chapter Location, Chapter Description, or Calendar of Events). Chapters also have the ability to add a Chapter Description and post the chapter's Calendar of Events.

  24. Access Board Management • Click the Board Management option. • Designate Current Term or Next Term. Each chapter has a Current Term (e.g., Annual 2007) and a Next Term (e.g., Annual 2008).

  25. Board Management (Options) • View/Edit: Click on the board member's name to view/edit data. • Add New Member: Click to add members to the Current Term or Next Term using, APICS ID or advanced search criteria • Copy to Next Term: Select records and click to copy members. • Delete: Select records and click to set board status to inactive. • Export Board Roster: Click to export board members data to Excel.

  26. Chapters with no Web orders will see this message. Chapters with one or more Web orders will see a list of orders. View Web Orders • Click the Web Orders option. • Click on the link to the Confirmation Number to view order details.

  27. View/Update your Chapter’s Billing Address • Under the President’s Tools area, click Edit link. • Make changes and click Save.

  28. View/Update your Chapter’s Address • Under the President’s Tools area, click Edit link. • Make changes and click Save.
