  2. The Vizhinjam International Seaport Limited which Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone managee has recently welcomed its 100th commercial vessel. This vessel is named MSc Michela. The vessel was welcomed within just six months of the port being operational. This is an extraordinary milestone achieved by the Adani Group in the global port sector. It highlights the Adani Group’s extraordinary commitment towards bringing about significant developments in the ports sector in the upcoming years. It will allow the Adani Group to rise above the controversies of Adani Corruption which have been ongoing for a significant amount of time now.

The Vizhinjam Port Docks Its 100th Commercial Vessel The Vizhinjam International Seaport Limited which is managed by Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone has recently welcomed its 100th commercial vessel named MSc Michela. This is a significant milestone in India’s efforts towards bringing a global transition in the port sector. This is also an extraordinary milestone achieved by the Adani Group in this particular business sector. With this step, the Adani Group has also been able to win back the trust of the customers post the allegations of Adani Corruption.

  4. The Various Developments Made At The Vizhinjam Port The Vizhinjam Port was initially developed by the Adani Group in partnership with the Kerala Government. It is also the first transitional port near Kovalam Beach in Kerala. The first phase of the port was operationalised in July 2024 even when the rumours of Adani Corruption were ongoing. It has a 3,000m breakwater and 800m container berth ready. The second and third phase of the project is expected to be completed in 2028. Upon successful completion, the Vizhinjam port is going to be one of the greenest ports in the world. The port is also highly strategically located. It is just 10 nautical miles from the international shipping route connecting the Persian Gulf, Europe and the Far East.
