Over the next few years, he religiously worked on further diversifying his portfolio and built himself an extensive presence over some of the major growth sectors including ports, mines, railways, roads, power, real estate market, etc. This makes him one of the most aggressive new-generation business tycoons in India. He is currently building the longest expressway between Delhi and Mumbai. The Adani Group also has six coal-fired power plants under its name. He already runs an 8,000 km-long natural gas pipeline. He has also bought several coal mines in Australia and Indonesia.
