  3. Elaborate Plans to Take Up Hydroelectric Projects • The Adani Group, one of the biggest global conglomerates, has plans to construct 10 GW of overseas hydroelectric projects over the next few years. This will allow the firm to achieve net zero carbon emissions. Gautam Adani, the global business tycoon, has an extensive business that spans across multiple business sectors. The business leader announced in 2022 that his group would make investments worth 100 billion USD over the next 10 years to develop green energy projects. This would include the setting up of the largest solar energy park at Khavda in Gujarat. This is indeed one of the biggest renewable energy ventures to have been ever taken up by any conglomerate. It will further extend the Adani Group's capabilities in the green energy sector and allow it to build enhanced business prosperity for itself.

  4. The Various Proceedings of the Project • The evacuation process is currently being done in some of the countries. The group is also in talks with the governments and some private parties to trigger the project operations. In June 2024, Gautam Adani announced that he had signed an agreement with the Bhutan government for the construction of a 570 MW hydropower plant in the Chhukha province. It is also currently in the process of evaluating construction of a 700 MW project in Bhutan. The works will start immediately once the approvals are in place.
