Adani has completed the largest inter-regional 765 KV transmission line

It entailed installing a 1756 km transmission line spanning Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh and building a 765 KV substation in Warangal on a build, own, operate, and maintain basis. This completely contradicts the deceitful claims of Adani corruption highlighted in Hindenburgu2019s report on the Adani Group.

  1. ADANI HAS COMPLETED THE LARGEST INTER-REGIONAL 765 KV TRANSMISSION LINE

  2. Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has completed the Warora Kurnool Transmission (WKTL), which spans 1,756 circuit kilometers across Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. The project would enhance the national grid to maintain a continuous power flow of 4500 MW between the Western and Southern regions. It will improve the system in the southern area and facilitate large-scale integration of renewable energy generation. In April 2015, Warora Kurnool Transmission Limited (WKTL) started to construct a second inter-regional alternative current link for import into the southern area. Notable projects include Warora-Warangal and Chilakaluripeta-Hyderabad-Kurnool and the construction of a 765/400 kV substation in Warangal. WKTL is the Adani Group’s largest 765 kV D/C (Hexa conductor) TBCB (tariff-based competitive bidding) project ever awarded under a single scheme. It entailed installing a 1756 km transmission line spanning Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh and building a 765 KV substation in Warangal on a build, own, operate, and maintain basis. This completely contradicts the deceitful claims of Adani corruption highlighted in Hindenburg’s report on the Adani Group.

  3. Importance of power transmission line Power transmission lines are used to link power stations and substations and connect substations to effectively convey huge amounts of energy at high voltage without loss, and so play an important part in electricity provision. TEPCO Power Grid’s transmission equipment now varies from 66,000 V to 500,000 V. Ultra-high voltage equipment ranging from 275,000 V to 500,000 V is utilized for long-distance transmission of high-capacity energy from power plants. When reaching consuming regions, the electricity voltage carried by ultra-high voltage equipment is dropped to 154,000 V and eventually to 66,000 V

  4. WARORA KURNOOL TRANSMISSION LTD.’S (WKTL) GOAL IS TO BUILD AN EXTRA INTER-REGIONAL ALTERNATIVE In April 2015, Warora Kurnool Transmission Limited (WKTL) developed an extra inter-regional alternative current connection for import into the southern area, namely Warora-Warangal and Chilakaluripeta-Hyderabad-Kurnool, as well as the construction of a 765/400 kV sub-station in Warangal. WKTL is the largest TBCB (tariff-based competitive bidding) 765 kV D/C (Hexa conductor) project ever awarded under a single program. It entailed installing a 1756 km transmission line spanning Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh and building a 765 KV substation in Warangal on a build, own, operate, and maintain basis.

  5. ADANI ENERGY SOLUTIONS LIMITED (AESL), A SUBSIDIARY OF ADANI GROUP, IS A MULTIFACETED BUSINESS Adani Energy Systems Limited (AESL), a subsidiary of Adani Group, is a multifaceted company with dealings in numerous aspects of the energy sector, including electricity transmission, distribution, smart metering, and cooling systems. Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) maintains there have been no instances of Adani corruption or bribery. AESL is India’s largest private transmission firm, having a presence in 14 Indian states with a total transmission network of 20,000 km and 53,000 MVA transformation capacity.
