  1. Graduate Program School of e-Education Adult Development & Collaborative Learning 210ADC106 __________________________________ Action Plan Aalyamesmaralyaalzaabilateifaalboushi 102160004 102150008102160001

  2. Introduction This work is presented to document a Best practice of using Educational Bags in RAK government schools. We as a group are going to present the subject, outcomes, rules, community, division of labor which helped to produce the best practice as considered

  3. Introduction To document this best practice case study, Engstrom’s triangle was used as a framework to organize and analyze the work done. Engstrom’s triangle “ is a useful tool for identifying the deep seated contradictions that give rise to surface level dis-coordination and conflict”. (Engeström's Expansive Triangle ,2006)

  4. Project Summary The educational bag is a set of methods, tools and educational activities that serve the educational situation and supports the curriculum through classroom activities and descriptive. These instruments are saved in an orderly and appropriate bag which is easy to carry and transport between the classroom, and the focus of the bag to provide aids for the teacher during the teaching process within the framework of the educational situation in the classroom, which aims mainly to find practical solutions necessary for teaching the material better and more enjoyable, it also enhance the realistic environment for students to learn by providing active interaction in the classroom and outside.

  5. Engstrom Triangle Instruments Subject Object/outcomes Rules Community Division of Labor

  6. Subject The subject in this project is mainly students, the team of the school teachers as well as the principle. Main

  7. Outcomes These school educational bags contains different resources for the teachers to use for different subjects which can help in finding practical solution to save time and effort and serve the educational system. It also helps in the development of methods of teaching and enrich the curriculum in line with what the students life. to develop the skills of exploration, research and self-learning, which is one of the pillars of modern learning. Meet the need of the schools to fill the gap in the production of educational media that you need in general curriculum, and curriculum developer in particular. Reduce pressure on the laboratory school and the school library and technology room. Easy access to hardware, tools and educational materials that serve a number of classroom activities Main

  8. Rules The time has been set in order to finish a descent number of materials as possible in a specific time frame. Each year tools are produced by individual efforts within the school community in the different subjects taught. The success of these kits was measured by the interactions created among the students and level of involvement as well. It encouraged students to work in groups in the affective way possible to meet the outcome of a certain lesson. It filled the lack of educational materials as well as solved the problem of being provided by these tools from the main city since the school is located in an oral area. Students’ contribution to be part of displaying those kits in the various exhibitions and educational gathering is a good measurement tool especially after getting thanking letters from the sponsors. ContinueMain .

  9. Rules In addition the educational kits was praised by number of the school visitors such as the minister of education, SharjahEductional zone’s manager, RAK educational zone’s manager, principles of government and private schools inside and outside the emirates and the academic accreditation members. Moreover this project saved a great deal of the school ‘s budget by providing the teachers with the tools they need. Not to forget the skills that those tools enriches such as exploration, assortment, assembling, perception and derivation Main

  10. Instruments Tools (instruments): methodical and appropriate bag easy to carry and transport between the classroom, and the focus of the bag to provide aids for the teacher (working papers Enrichment and remedial - Transparencies - CD - videos - Cards - Photos and means of real - Models small - samples). Main

  11. Community Teachers have a share goal that is all teachers have a school educational bags that contain different resources and help and serve the education process. They work as different groups depend on their major and skills. Examples of this groups are : • The Mathematics group. • The Science Group. • The Arabic language Group. • The Islamic study Grope. • The Social study group. • The Technical support Main

  12. Division of Labor Each group start by extracting the goals and aims of each curriculum, then agree on the best method to achieve this goals by either a ( working papers Enrichment and remedial - Transparencies - CD - videos - Cards - Photos and means of real - Models small – samples) Then each member of the group choose mean that Consistent with the personal skill or ask for help from other teachers or the technical support team. And then evaluate the outcome by analyzing the result of a questionnaire done by teachers and students, as well as a general Supervision of a supervisor of each subjects. The technical support team is the basic of each group because they help members of the group to assemble their work , In addition of the assistant of the members in search of sources. And also the further plans of e-educational bags that will be put out as an internet source of every teacher within the UAE curriculum so this group transfer the tools and work plan of each group to e-Aid. Main

  13. Summary To sum up, for this action plan the activity of designing, developing, implementing and evaluating of the Educational Bag is actually a system whole in the sense that all elements have a relationship to other elements. In which The relation between subject(teachers, learners, administrators) and the object (finding practical solution to save time and effort and serve the educational system for the schools to fill the gap in the production of educational media that are needed in general curriculum, and curriculum developer in particular is mediated by tools (or instruments) which are working papers Enrichment and remedial - Transparencies - CD - videos - Cards - Photos and means of real - Models small – samples.

  14. The relationship between subject and community ( which are different subjects’ groups is mediated by rules (norms or constraints) regulating the use of time and production of the bags , and that between object and community is mediated by division of labor which is how to find the best method and divide the work between the working groups. Each of the mediating elements is historically formed and opened to further development. Ever since an activity is formed, the corresponding mediating elements are continuously reconstructed. This development is driven by different contradictions; it is not a smooth and linear process but uneven and discontinuous one.

  15. An activity has an active subject (an individual or collective), who understands the object (motive) of the activity. However, not all participants (community) involved in an activity necessarily understand the motive of the activity in which they are participating or even recognize the existence of one. As the contradictions (structural tensions) of an activity system are aggravated over a period of time, some individual participants begin to question and deviate from its established norms.
