  14. Understanding of Project Issues Awareness of Project Issues Utility Adjustments • We propose to provide a schedule showing the relationship of the UWS from each utility to the contractor for use in coordinating with utilities and developing the construction schedule.

Understanding of Project Issues Awareness of Project Issues Right-of-Way • Existing structures remain in right of way – 5 locations • Residence south of Wood Road appears occupied • Right-of-way must be cleared prior to FPL construction RECOMMENDATION:Advise District Production staff to confirm right-of-way is cleared by letting date.

Understanding of Project Issues Awareness of Project Issues Pond Construction • Pond Siting Report indicates poorly drained soils • High water tables • FPC ponds were challenging to construct on adjacent project • Pond excavation provides embankment RECOMMENDATION: Emphasize Pond Construction Prior to Rainy Season

Understanding of Project Issues Awareness of Project Issues Storm Water Management • Existing off-site flow is east to west • Maintain positive flow of off-site storm water flow through project • Treat construction runoff RECOMMENDATION: Utilize ponds for construction stormwater treatment during construction.

Understanding of Project Issues Awareness of Project Issues Drainage Construction Inspection • 15,000+ feet of new storm sewer and drains • Video and laser profile required on all pipe less than 48” RECOMMENDATION:Schedule meeting with Paul Harkins and drainage contractor to define inspection, reporting and submittal requirements. RECOMMENDATION:Schedule multiple submittals as each drainage basin is completed.

Understanding of Project Issues Awareness of Project Issues Asphalt Milling ERC Comments Indicated Arcadia Maintenance Wants Asphalt Millings RECOMMENDATION: If this request is honored, a pay item plan note should be added to advise the contractor regarding the disposition of millings so cost is accounted for by contractor when bidding the project.

Understanding of Project Issues Awareness of Project Issues Railroad • Railroad adjacent to west right of way from begin construction to Thicket Rd. • Construction limits are well away from rails. • CSX does not permit equipment to cross rails RECOMMENDATION: Advise contractor of CSX regulation at preconstruction meeting. RECOMMENDATION: In the event conditions change, notify Lisa Revell-Petro, GEC Rail Coordinator.
