    4. MSP Mission Statement The overall goal of the Northwest Georgia Math-Science Partnership is to improve the content knowledge and instructional practices of our cohort teachers in order to increase the science achievement of students.

    5. Program Calendar Two Year Commitment Year One: Summer Institute July 13 -17, 8:30 – 4:30 School Year Dates: September 11 October 16 November 6 January 15 February 26

    6. Benefits 16 PLUs earned over the grant training cycle. A stipend of $400 paid to each participant for each week of summer training. 100% attendance Variety of high quality hands-on learning experiences correlated to grade level standards. Numerous resources and materials for each participant to use in their classroom.

    7. Behavioral Expectations The same as you expect from your students Professional, Adult behavior Attendance Be present at all sessions Please communicate emergencies to an Instructor or Program Director Promptness No phone calls or texting during class Call on your breaks No personal business on college computers No Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc.

    8. Professional Expectations One Performance Assessment per year Tic-Tac-Toe Due no later than February 26- last class meeting
