Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most prevalent mental health disorders in children, characterized by developmentally inappropriate levels of inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. These symptoms often lead to challenges in socialization and learning, contributing to issues with relationships and classroom behavior. Accurate diagnosis requires evidence of symptoms before age 7, persistence in multiple settings, and ruling out other causes. Management may include pharmacological treatments, behavioral therapy, and educational support. Effective strategies are crucial for helping children thrive.
