Idea Execution Document • This is a sample format provided by Amity Innovation Incubator for idea evaluation. • Presentation should not be more than 10 minutes long and should get the listener excited about the business. • Please do not use a font size smaller than 18 in the presentation. Choose a formal font. • Each idea/venture has its own USPs and one should highlight those USPs in the presentation. Amity does not recommend use of one standard format for presentation for all ventures. • At the same time, we believe that the key points mentioned in this are crucial and should be touched upon in any presentation.

  2. TITLE SLIDE Define the company/business in a single declarative sentence.

  3. Company Profile • Team Profile • Name and Contact Details of the Company • Current Revenues & Key Customers/Markets

  4. Need • Describe the needs you are trying to fulfill. How are these needs met currently? • Who are your target customers? What is the market potential?

  5. Value Proposition • Describe your offering • How does your offering solve the problem? • Give an example to illustrate the use case if possible

  6. Competition • List Competitors and their offerings • How is your solution better than competition’s?

  7. Business Model • How do you plan to make money? • How will you price your product/service?

  8. Sales and Distribution • How will you reach out to your consumers/deliver your product to them?

  9. Financials • What are the current revenues, variable costs, operating profits and net profits? • What are the projections for next 3 years • When does your venture break even? When does it start making profits?

  10. Investment Rationale • What are your funding requirements? • How do you plan to use the funds? • What justifies an investment in your venture? • What is the exit strategy for the investor?
