Project Overview Animal Project This will be our final week for selling popsicles. Sales have been going very well! This Saturday, May 17th kindergartners and second graders will be hosting a bake sale table at Central Middle School from 12:00-3:00 during the Literacy Festival. Our field trip to the Indianapolis Zoo is on Friday, May 23rd. Final details about our trip will be coming home this week!

Then, read “The Coatis of the Sonora Desert” to learn your new vocabulary words and discuss making author’s purpose. Tuesday and Wednesday: Read Dig, Wait, Listen, by April Pulley Sayre. Our class will vote on Friday to decide which flyers will be passed out at the bake sale. Your job is to create an informative flyer that will give our customers information about animals. You can choose your topic, but it must be focused on ways to learn more about animals or how to help them. Your flyer must have a title, complete sentences, and correct grammar. You may choose to add pictures, color, and the font of your choice.
